This blanket is approximately 21 inches long and 21 inches wide. I used just under 2 balls of 100g light weight dk yarn.

In the UK they recommend that babies travel in the car seat without a coat, so this size blanket is perfect for baby to keep warm over their harness.

You can change to puff stitch for a bobble stitch it's all in the pattern notes.
